May 11, 2019 at 10:37 amHi Abby – I am so excited to find your website and follow your beautiful work. I was researching Romabio Limewash on their FB page and they tagged you. I see you did a house in the Crystallo. It looks beautiful. I am doing a fireplace in my great room and read a comment or two about Crystallo being too yellow or darker than the person anticipated. My interior is painted BM White Dove (walls and trim) and was thinking of using it but now I am questioning myself. Since I have not seen the colors in person it is hard to make a judgement call. I think the Bianco is too white with White Dove. So it is Avorio or Crystallo. I would love it if you could give me your thoughts on Crystallo or Avorio with BM White Dove. Thank you – lisa

May 19, 2019 at 10:34 amHey Lisa,
Thanks so much for the email!St. Simons is absolutely gorgeous. When I was little my Dad had a grocery store there. The huge butcher block in my Atlanta studio came out of that St.Simons store.lots of love for the area. I chose the Cyrstallo because I wanted a more organic white. Nothing to stark or harsh. I know super white is trendy but that’s not the look we were after. There are a couple of factors to consider. 1) your brick color. This will effect the overall color. 2) how much Limewash you will be applying. In other words how much product your going to put on the brick. Question… is there any brick on the exterior of the Home? Brick that matches the fireplace that you can do some samples and wash off completely with the water hose once your finished?
